This file is used to store data necessary for the conversion to run properly. You should not edit any data in this file other than the parameters (DATE TO RE-INITIALIZE G&L and DO WARDS SHARE BEDS?). You may also edit the STOP CONVERSION field. This will allow you to stop the mvt of inpatient data during the processes which move patients in-house since your initialization date or all remaining inpatient data. All other data in this file is filled in by and used by the conversion process. Entry/edit of this data could have negative impacts on the conversion and may cause data to be corrupted.

HELP-PROMPT: Choose from OCT 1,1993, OCT 1,1994, OCT 1, 1995. Enter '??' for more detailed help.
DESCRIPTION: You must choose a date of either 10/1/88, 10/1/89, or 10/1/90 as the date to initialize your G&L. You should choose the latest possible date, but at the same time be comfortable that your statistics are accurate as of the
date you choose. We strongly recommend that you choose 10/1/90 as this will insure your G&Ls are available at the earliest possible time.
Step 1 of the conversion will convert all your room-beds, movement types, and all inpatient activity for your current inpatients. Your system will then become available to users. Once the system is available, step 2 will
start. This step will convert all inpatient activity for patients who have been inpatients since the date you chose to initialize your G&L. Your recalculation will then start. At the conclusion, all remaining inpatient
activity will be moved.
The later you choose to initialize the G&L, the sooner the G&L and other statistical reports will be available. Please consider this carefully.

HELP-PROMPT: Enter YES to create a single bed to be used by multiple wards or NO to create multiple unique beds of the same name. Enter '??' for more help.
DESCRIPTION: Respond YES if your facility has beds which are shared by multiple wards to insure this bed is available to all wards which use it. If you have multiple beds of the same name which are unique (used only by a single ward),
answer NO.
The following assumes both ward 1 and ward 2 have a room called 100 with a bed called 1. The following displays this bed in the new structure based on your response:
ROOM-BED 100-1 ROOM-BED 100-1
Ward(s) which can assign: Ward(s) which can assign:
WARD 1 WARD1
ROOM-BED 100-1 WARD2
Ward(s) which can assign:
WARD 2
By answering NO, you will have two beds 100-1, one is located on ward 1 and one is located on ward 2.
The second method will create a single bed 100-1 which either ward can use.
DESCRIPTION: This multiple will hold the times that various steps of the conversion started and completed. It will also hold where a conversion step left off should it fail to complete for any reason. The conversion will restart from
that point.
Do NOT edit any of this data manually. This data is used by the conversion to insure all steps are completed properly. Editing of this data may cause the conversion to not create all necessary files.
The steps that are stored are as follows:
1 - conversion of room-beds
2 - conversion of movement types
3 - conversion of inpatients' movements
4 - conversion of patients in-house since init date
