  • DESCRIPTION:  Whether a cashier has opened a brand new session or they have logged out and logged back in to be assigned a still open session this field will be set to "yes". This means this session has been "assigned"" to a cashier
    and is therefore active.

    The value of this field is used as a flag to prohibit a cashier from logging into two different terminals and being assigned two different sessions at the same time.
    If this flag is set the following message will be displayed: YOU HAVE ANOTHER RPMS SESSION WHICH WAS ALREADY ASSIGNED A CASHIERING SESSION. YOU CAN HAVE ONLY ONE 'OPEN' CASHIERING SESSION AT A TIME.
    If the user sees this message it may mean they already have a session open or it means the last time they were in a session the system crashed, or they were kicked out from RPMS on an "sorry 'bout that' error, or they
    improperlyclosed their RPMS session by clicking on "Disconnect" in their MS Window Menu, or clicked on the X box in the upper right corner of the window or they closed their MS Window in some other way. RPMS should never
    be exited in this manner.
