DESCRIPTION | NOTE: In cases where regionalization exits, several parent facilities may co-exist in one central machine or CPU (central processing unit). This allows two or more parent facilities to use the same machine, side by side, without ever interfering with each other's files or data. Parent Facility Addition: This option allows users to set up Parent Facilities. Parent Facilities are central collection points for itself and its satellites. For example, a Parent Facility may be a large hospital location where all payments are sent for services dispensed at other IHS and 638 hospitals and clinics. The Parent Facility does the billing, collection of money, posting, and followup for all hospitals and clinics, i.e., service units under its administrative domain. |
