IHS SEARCH TEMPLATE

Users will receive mail upon installation of the system and then every 60 days thereafter notifying them of search templates older than 30 days. These templates will be deleted in 60 days (the next time the queued option ATSTEMPLATE runs) unless the user indicates in the Save Search Template option (ATSMANAGE) (that all users who create search templates should have access to) that they want the search template(s) saved. The next time the option ATSTEMPLATE runs, it will again notify the user that certain search templates (including those previously indicated as save) will be deleted in 60 days. In the rare instance that a user wants a search template saved indefinitely, a request will need to be made by them to the site manager to have that template entered into the SITE MGR SEARCH TEMPLATE file. All search templates that are within users' mail messages will appear within the IHS SEARCH TEMPLATE file. Unless a "Y" is indicated in the SAVE SEARCH TEMPLATE? field within this file, the template will be deleted. A "Y" will show up in this field if the user indicates within the Save Search Template option that s/he wants a particular search template saved.
